August 24, 2026 – Anchor Health, Connecticut’s leading LGBTQ health center, is proud to announce that its inaugural gala will take place on Saturday, October 24, at The Loading Dock in Stamford. The gala will celebrate the organization’s 10th anniversary and recognize a decade of groundbreaking LGBTQ health care. It will also help support Anchor Health’s next chapter of growth.
The gala will feature a full-bar cocktail hour, a three-course sit-down dinner, live and silent auctions, sensational entertainment, and an awards ceremony honoring champions of our community. The 2026 honorees are Patricia Chadwick, Anchor Health’s cofounder and pro bono CEO; Dr. Amanda Rostkowski, physician at Women’s Health Connecticut; Mallory James Sanchez, attorney at the Center for Children’s Advocacy; and Erick Russell, Connecticut State Treasurer. NYC queer nightlife pioneer and iconic drag king Murray Hill will host the evening.

While we have achieved our goal, there are still far too many in the LGBTQ community who are not afforded access to the care that they need, and we provide,” shared Peter Kelly, Board Chair. “This gala is not just celebrating how far we have come – it’s also a renewed commitment to the journey ahead.
