Chris Adams, RN, keeps Anchor Health up and running as our Practice Manager. He is responsible for managing office staff, maintaining providers’ schedules, and overseeing clinic operations. In 2019, A.C. Demidont, DO, AAHIVS, handpicked Chris to be our first ever nurse. He had been her patient for years.
Before Anchor Health, Chris worked with adults with intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders. This job showed him how vital it is to bring empathy and compassion in and out of his work. Chris earned nursing degrees from Gateway Community College and Southern New Hampshire University. He has been a registered nurse since 2017 and has experience with urology, orthopedic surgery, and neurosurgery patients, among others.
Chris jumped at the opportunity to serve his community by joining our team. He is passionate about civil rights and protections for LGBTQ people in health care, the Black Lives Matter movement, reforming health care and insurance, and more.
On the weekdays, you can find Chris hiking, biking, and playing video games in New Haven. On the weekends, he’s in New York City, hanging out with friends, trying new Thai and Asian restaurants, and listening to Lady Gaga, Blackpink, and Dua Lipa.
