A born and raised Floridian, Chelsea Lozama made a home for herself in New Haven after graduating from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Fueled by her desire to help people in all aspects of health and mind, Chelsea knew the medical field was her next step.

Chelsea graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute’s medical assistant program in 2020. She found out about Anchor Health online and, as a lesbian, Chelsea was deeply impressed by our mission. It was her first time hearing of a health clinic specifically serving the LGBTQ community.

Outside of work, Chelsea is an avid anime watcher and video game player. Japanese role-playing games are her favorite. Chelsea also loves to draw, listen to music from around the world, and scroll through social media, cooing at her friends’ pet pictures.
