Susan Brown, APRN, PMHCNS-BC, is a psychiatric-mental health clinical nurse specialist who joined Anchor Health in 2023.
Susan received her Master of Science in Nursing from the Yale School of Nursing. She has been on Yale’s faculty for over 30 years and remains clinically active with them through her role as a clinical instructor. For over a decade, Susan has maintained a private practice in Greater New Haven, providing person-centered consultation, evaluation, psychopharmacology, and therapy.
Over time, Susan has developed expertise in treating serious mental health conditions as well as managing depressive and anxiety disorders. She’s adept at working with individuals as well as within family systems. Through a collaborative approach, Susan strives to validate each patient’s lived experience. She specializes in treating the LBGTQ community, particularly transgender youth.
