Submissions are currently open for Volume 4 of our Pride Zine.
We’re seeking written pieces (such as articles, educational guides and other resources, creative writing, poetry), visual art (such as drawings, paintings, photography, comic strips, collages), and more based on the theme.
About the theme
The theme, “Camp Anchor Health,” celebrates queer survival. This is a space to nurture your inner camper, connect with your community, and embrace the strength and resilience you need to weather any storm. At Camp Anchor Health, we’re creating a survival kit stocked with the compassion, support, and tools we need to care for ourselves and each other.
Join us around the campfire as we honor the stories of queer and trans elders, stoke the flames of our collective imagination, and strengthen the ties that bond us together. Camp Anchor Health always has space for you.
Example prompts:
- What do you need in your survival kit to thrive?
- What story or advice would you pass down to the next generation of queer people?
- Create a merit badge honoring your queer journey.
- How do you care for yourself or your community?
