Mike Crisp has more than 25 years of legal experience in counseling health care systems, hospitals, physician groups, physician inventors, and early-stage medical device companies in commercial transactions, corporate governance, intellectual property protection, and disputes.
Mike was a shareholder and practice group leader at Kilpatrick Townsend LLP and a shareholder at K&L Gates LLP, with health care clients that included Tenet Healthcare, Hospital Corporation of America, Saint Joseph’s Hospital, and Reflow BioMedical Technologies. In 2013, Mike became the General Counsel and Managing Director of Harbor Cap Partners LLC, a Connecticut-based private equity firm. At Harbor Cap, Mike has led or advised on numerous investments in early-stage medical device and technology companies.
Based on personal experience with transgender people and issues, Mike is dedicated to providing appropriate health care access and support to all trans and gender-diverse children and their families and promoting greater acceptance of trans and gender-diverse people through education.
